Fixes: * CVE-2023-7216 [1] A path traversal vulnerability was found in the CPIO utility. This issue could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to trick a user into opening a specially crafted archive. During the extraction process, the archiver could follow symlinks outside of the intended directory, which could be utilized to run arbitrary commands on the target system. * CVE-2026-28525 [2] SWUpdate contains an integer underflow vulnerability in the multipart upload parser in mongoose_multipart.c that allows unauthenticated attackers to cause a denial of service by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to /upload with a malformed multipart boundary and controlled TCP stream timing. Attackers can trigger an integer underflow in the mg_http_multipart_continue_wait_for_chunk() function when the buffer length falls within a specific range, causing an out-of-bounds heap read that writes data beyond the allocated receive buffer to a local IPC socket. Buildroot is a simple, efficient and easy-to-use tool to generate embedded Linux systems through cross-compilation. The documentation can be found in docs/manual. You can generate a text document with 'make manual-text' and read output/docs/manual/manual.text. Online documentation can be found at https://buildroot.org/docs.html To build and use the buildroot stuff, do the following: 1) run 'make menuconfig' 2) select the target architecture and the packages you wish to compile 3) run 'make' 4) wait while it compiles 5) find the kernel, bootloader, root filesystem, etc. in output/images You do not need to be root to build or run buildroot. Have fun! Buildroot comes with a basic configuration for a number of boards. Run 'make list-defconfigs' to view the list of provided configurations.
