Igor Opaniuk 3ae7d01d6a package/rmtfs: new package
rmtfs serves the EFS partitions of the modem of Qualcomm SoCs (modemst1,
modemst2, fsg, fsc) over QRTR and the rmtfs shared memory; without it
the modem firmware stalls during its boot.

The tarball ships the QMI encoders pre-generated, so the qmic code
generator is not needed; the .c/.h files are touched before the build
so make does not try to regenerate them. The sysv init script starts
the daemon with -P (EFS partitions by GPT label) and skips when there is
no rmtfs shared memory; RMTFS_ARGS can be overridden in
/etc/default/rmtfs (e.g. -s to let rmtfs start the modem). With systemd
the upstream unit and udev rule are installed.

Tested on an Arduino UNO Q (Qualcomm QRB2210): with sysv init the modem
boots, its EFS is served from the modemst1/modemst2/fsg partitions and
its WLAN firmware comes up.

Buildroot is a simple, efficient and easy-to-use tool to generate embedded
Linux systems through cross-compilation.

The documentation can be found in docs/manual. You can generate a text
document with 'make manual-text' and read output/docs/manual/manual.text.
Online documentation can be found at https://buildroot.org/docs.html

To build and use the buildroot stuff, do the following:

1) run 'make menuconfig'
2) select the target architecture and the packages you wish to compile
3) run 'make'
4) wait while it compiles
5) find the kernel, bootloader, root filesystem, etc. in output/images

You do not need to be root to build or run buildroot. Have fun!

Buildroot comes with a basic configuration for a number of boards. Run
'make list-defconfigs' to view the list of provided configurations.

Please feed suggestions, bug reports, insults, and bribes back to the
buildroot mailing list: buildroot@buildroot.org
You can also find us on #buildroot on OFTC IRC.
